However, in order to facilitate the organization as well as to avoid losing the candidates’ own time, Mr. Quoc noted that candidates should bring the necessary items, limit the time to send and receive personal items first as well. like after finishing the test.

Specifically, according to the regulations, candidates are only allowed to bring in pens, pencils, compasses, erasers, rulers, rulers, and pocket calculators without text editing functions and without memory cards. .

Items candidates are not allowed to bring into the exam room include: carbon paper; eraser; acoholic drink; weapons and substances that cause pain and incendiary; materials, devices that transmit or contain information that can be used to cheat during the test. “If a candidate brings illegal items into the exam room; takes the test paper out of the exam room or receives the solution from outside into the exam room; writes and draws on his test paper any content unrelated to the test; engage in aggressive behavior or threaten those responsible during the examination or threaten other candidates with suspension.

In addition, if a candidate has been warned once but during the exam time that test continues to violate the exam regulations at the level of reprimand or warning, the test will also be suspended. Candidates who are suspended from taking any exam will receive a score of 0 on that test and will not be allowed to continue taking the next exam,” Quoc emphasized.

Regarding the exam, Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc said, this year the number of candidates taking part in the 10th grade entrance exam is higher than 2020. And this is a rather special school year when students have to combine both forms of online learning. and online due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. Therefore, the Department has built a matrix of exam questions suitable for the actual situation of teaching and learning in high schools.

Mr. Quoc also said that at present, the preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam has been basically completed. Before the exam day, the Department and the exam steering committees of the districts will go to check the situation of preparation, the organization as well as note the issues that need to be supplemented and perfected for the test scores.

It is known that the exam will take place on June 11 and 12. This year, Ho Chi Minh City has more than 94,000 students registered to compete for nearly 73,000 places in 118 public high schools.

The whole city has 150 test points, including 139 points for normal test and 11 points for specialized test. The Department has mobilized nearly 11,900 teachers to work as exam administrators, 1,800 people as staff, security guards, and police officers serving at exam sites.
