Anh Vien’s younger brother has a place to attend the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam
Nguyen Quang Thuan has an extremely famous sister in the Vietnamese swimming world, which is Nguyen Thi Anh Vien. Quang Thuan is not on the list of national players going to long-term training in Hungary at the moment. However, Quang Thuan was recently selected to attend the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam because of his good performance in the last two domestic tournaments.
Anh Vien’s younger brother won 4 gold medals at the 2021 national swimming championships taking place in December 2021 in Da Nang. Includes: gold medal 400m individual medley (4’23″52), gold medal 200m butterfly (2’02″84), gold medal 800m freestyle (8’06″74) and gold medal 200m individual medley (2’04) “48).

With her sister participating in the 2022 national swimming championship for the short pool (25m) in March 2022 in Thua Thien – Hue, athlete Nguyen Quang Thuan won the events: 200m freestyle with a record of 1’49 “80; 400m individual medley with a time of 4’11″81 – breaking the record of 4’15″11 set by Tran Hung Nguyen in 2019; 400m freestyle with 3’49″37; 1500m freestyle in 14’58″09 and 200m butterfly in 1’57″82.
As for Anh Vien, she decided to part ways with the Vietnamese swimming team. The Can Tho “swimmers” will not compete at the SEA Games next May in Vietnam.
