Catching F0 recklessly transporting 6 drugs in Lai Chau

The police of Lai Chau province have just arrested Mua A Dia (SN 1985, residing in Muong Ang district, Dien Bien) for the act of illegally transporting narcotics, seizing 6 cakes of heroin.

The Police Department for Investigation of Drug-related Crimes, Lai Chau Provincial Police have just coordinated with the Muong Te District Police and other functional forces to successfully crack the reconnaissance project with the secret number 322M.

Previously, Muong Te district police discovered a line of illegal drug trafficking from Dien Bien to Muong Te district, Lai Chau province. The Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security has directed the Drug Crime Investigation Police Division to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating the establishment of a special case to fight and clarify.

Around 12:30 on March 13, at Km69, provincial road 127 in the territory of Nam Ha village, Can Ho commune, Muong Te district, the working group discovered a person with suspected symptoms of illegal drug transportation. Through inspection, it was discovered that Season A Dia was caught transporting a bag of snake carcasses containing 6 drugs with a weight of 2.2kg.

Through the exploitation struggle, Mua A Dia claimed that he was hired by a man with Lao nationality to transport drugs from Muong Ang, Dien Bien to Can Ho commune, Muong Te district for 50 million VND. After receiving the goods, Dia put the above drugs in his backpack and took his motorbike to the pre-arranged place to make the transaction, but was discovered and arrested by the police force.

During the arrest, rapid test results showed that Dia was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The case is being further investigated by the authorities
