Man Utd consider destroying Old Trafford
According to Daily Mail, Man Utd has come up with 3 plans to re-develop Old Trafford. One of them is the most controversial option, which is to completely demolish the current Old Trafford and build a new, more modern stadium with a capacity of 90,000 seats.
Another option is that the structure of Old Trafford will remain the same and only repair and expand the southern stands to increase the capacity to more than 80,000 seats. The other option is to renovate the entire yard but not expand the stands.
Old Trafford has been the home ground of Man Utd for the past 112 years
Old Trafford was inaugurated in 1910 and became one of the most famous football fields in the world. “Theater of Dreams” has been considered the symbol of the Red Devils for the past 112 years.
However, due to the process of using it for a long time and showing signs of deterioration in recent times. The current capacity of the field is 74,140 seats which is considered not enough to meet the ambition of this team.
