The average income of workers in the cooperative is maintained at 6-9 million VND/person/month, some people reach 10 million VND/month. The revenue from participating in the e-commerce platform has helped us get such business results,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Director of Myanmar Viet Cuong Cooperative.

Maybe consumers have not bought on the floor but know the information and brand of the product, then it is convenient to buy it at a supermarket or a store near their home. Now everyone has a smartphone and the opportunity to access the Internet. We define e-commerce as the main business channel, not a secondary channel, so in the future, we will continue to invest in this channel.”

Similar to Myanmar Viet Cuong Cooperative, Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city) also increased output and revenue after being listed on the e-commerce floor.

Customers also praised the product for its clear and transparent information on labels and traceability stamps.

“Currently, there are 14 products of Hao Dat Tea on the e-commerce platform, divided into 3 product lines including Dinh Tea, Shrimp Tea, and Hook Tea. In which, the line of shrimp tea is a 5-star OCOP product, while the nail and hook tea is a 4-star OCOP product. Hao Dat tea is produced according to VietGap standards, tested and analyzed closely to ensure quality when it reaches consumers”, Ms. Hao happily added to us.

She also did not forget to boast that the e-commerce channel has contributed to helping the cooperative create stable jobs for local people, helping many farmers increase their income from 3 to 3.5 million VND/month before. 6 – 8 million VND/month.

One thing in common between Viet Cuong Burma and Hao Dat Tea is that both of these cooperatives have been receiving support and training on how to do business on Postmart.vn from Thai Nguyen Post Office.

“In 2021, after the Ministry of Information and Communications (TT & TT) issued Decision No. 1034, Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee also announced Plan No. 177 to support agricultural production households on the e-commerce platform.
