More than 330,000 children draw Toyota contest – ‘Dream car’

As a meaningful playground for students under the age of 15, the Toyota international painting contest – “Dream car” was launched by Toyota Vietnam in collaboration with Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspapers. nationwide from October 2021.

Participating in this year’s contest, students can choose one of two ways to express their paintings: Hand-painted on A3 paper, unlimited drawing materials and graphics on electronic devices such as computers. computer, tablet (can use software to draw).

Although affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, after only 4 months of launching nationwide, the Toyota international painting contest – “Dream car” still received a large number of entries up to 336,586 picture. The contest’s jury, consisting of experienced art experts, worked hard and fairly through the qualifying rounds and final rounds to select 150 winners, including 15 first prizes and 15 second prizes. , 30 third prizes, 90 consolation prizes and 10 prizes voted by online audience. Besides, the Organizing Committee has selected 9 best paintings to participate in the International Competition in Japan in March 2022.

The representative of the jury evaluated: “The works we received this year are of quite good and uniform quality. The students adhered to the requirements of the contest, their works clearly showed their messages and creative ideas with harmonious composition and colors. Besides, we appreciate the active participation of teachers and students in the contest amid the complicated developments of the Covid epidemic.”

Toyota International Painting Competition – “Dream Car” is organized annually by Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan since 2004. In Vietnam, since the school year 2011 – 2012, the contest has been started. implemented and always received a positive response from students with more than 5 million contest entries after 11 years of organization. Especially, at the International Competition held in Japan, Vietnam was honored to be one of the countries with many high achievements with 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze and 4 consolation prizes.
