According to the Hanoi CDC, out of 19,065 new Covid-19 cases today, there are 6,346 community cases and 12,719 isolated cases. Patients are distributed in 423 communes, wards and towns in 30/30 districts, towns. Some districts that recorded many patients in a day were Ha Dong (1,129); Hoang Mai (1,017); Hai Ba Trung (958); Soc Son (929) and Dong Da (914).

Thus, the cumulative number of cases in Hanoi during the 4th outbreak (from April 29, 2021) is 1,171,344 cases. According to the Ministry of Health, as of March 19, Hanoi had 3,054 F0 patients being treated at hospitals, including more than 600 severe and critical cases. According to Director of Hanoi Department of Health Tran Thi Nhi Ha, the number of cases and hospitalizations has tended to decrease in the last 7 days. The proportion of severe patients, patients transferred to treatment floors also tended to decrease.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung also said that in recent days, the number of Covid-19 cases is still high but has tended to decrease, the rate of F0 hospitalizations is low, the number of deaths is decreasing. That shows that Hanoi has controlled the epidemic situation.

Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee said that Hanoi has “opened” back to activities to adapt safely and flexibly but ensure control of the epidemic situation.
