Expulsion of the Communist Party of CDC Nghe An because of violations in the Viet A case

Today (March 21), the Inspection Committee (UBKT) of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a meeting in the first quarter of 2022 to consider and conclude a number of violations by officials and signs of violations against the Party Committee. There were 4 cadres and party members in the Party Committee who violated the law related to the implementation of the project, were sentenced to prison and expelled from the Party.

The Audit Committee believes that violations of the Party Committee and branch have adversely affected and reduced the prestige of the Party organization. The Provincial Party Committee’s Economic Committee decided to impose discipline and reprimand for the Party Committee of the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs for the 2015-2020 term.

The Audit Committee also considered and disciplined Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Health, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department, Director of CDC and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham – Deputy Secretary of the Executive Branch. The Economic Committee of the Provincial Party Committee found that Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham had violated the provisions of the law when organizing the bidding for the procurement of materials for the prevention and control of Covid-19 of Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company. is a violation of the Party’s charter. Violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and regulations on the responsibility of setting an example of officials and party members; causing particularly serious consequences, losing the party membership and leadership role of the Party organization.

The Provincial Party Committee’s Economic Committee decided to discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham to be expelled from the Party and proposed to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee to consider and take disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh according to its competence.

Next, the Audit Committee considered and disciplined Mr. Le Phung Dieu – Secretary of the Party cell, Head of the Protection Forest Management Board of Ky Son district, former Secretary of the Party cell, and head of the Quy Hop district’s Protection Forest Management Committee. .

The Provincial Party Committee found that Mr. Le Phung Dieu had made mistakes in forest exploitation and protection, and was sentenced to 30 months in prison by the People’s Court of Quy Hop district. The Provincial Party Committee’s Economic Committee decided to discipline Mr. Dieu to be expelled from the Party.
