Reuters news agency quoted Ukraine Interior Ministry adviser Vadym Denysenko as saying that Russia has begun destroying the country’s fuel and food reserves. That means that the Ukrainian government will have to dissolve both stockpiles in the near future.

Speaking on television, Mr. Denysenko said that Russia is sending forces to the border with Ukraine in a rotation direction and may launch new efforts in the attack on Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the battle for control of two villages near the separatist stronghold of Donestk and said it had launched a Kalibr cruise missile attack to destroy ammunition depots and weapons in the Zhytomyr region, west of Kiev.

Attack with high-precision weapons was conducted yesterday morning (March 26), from an unnamed missile ship parked in the Black Sea. The Russian Defense Ministry has shared a video showing the ship launching four missiles at Ukrainian targets.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk has said that today, Ukraine and Russia have agreed on two humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from the war zone, including Mariupol.

Accordingly, residents of Donetsk will be allowed to use private vehicles to reach the city of Zaporizhzhia, 250km away. Those trying to escape fighting in the Luhansk region were also allowed to leave the city of Rubizhne for Bkhmut, 80km away.

In the latest intelligence report released this morning, the British Ministry of Defense said that the Russian military appeared to be trying to encircle Ukrainian forces fighting in the breakaway region in the east of the country.

Russian troops are moving from the regions around Kharkiv to the south and from Mariupol to the north of Ukraine. According to the British Ministry of Defense, Russia is continuing to strike targets across Ukraine and Moscow is relying on missiles launched from its territory to avoid being hit by Ukrainian anti-aircraft fire.

According to Ukraine’s nuclear watchdog, a Ukrainian nuclear research facility in Kharkiv has been shelled again by Russia. However, damage assessment cannot be done immediately due to combat. Kharkiv has been surrounded by Russian troops since the beginning of the war.
