Bravia X80K was introduced at the CES 2022 exhibition earlier this year and is expected to be sold in Vietnam from the end of April. This is the best-priced Google TV series with the widest range of sizes from Sony, including 5 options 43, 50, 55 , 65 and 75 inches. All use LCD screen, LED backlight technology, 4K resolution LCD panel and new control RMF-TX800P.

To optimize the price, the new product uses a thin but thin plastic frame and a traditional V-leg design. The X80K is full of Sony’s new image processing technologies such as Triluminos Pro color generation, XR Motion Clarity motion processing, 4K X-Reality Pro auto upscaling, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support.

The design of the side is not too thin so that the X80K can be equipped with a large volume speaker system with a capacity of 20 W (2.0 with 10 W per channel), X-Balanced Speaker sound balance design. Other audio technologies available on the X80K series include Dolby Atmos, DTS Digital Surround, S-Master Digital Amplifier and S-Force Front Surround.

A significant advantage on mid-range TVs from Sony over the competition is the latest Google TV operating system with a redesigned interface that is simpler, more intuitive and easier to use. The app store is also richer than Tizen OS or webOS. Google Assistant assistant supports Vietnamese voice search and control in all three regions. The interesting point is that users can speak directly into the microphone on the TV, besides speaking through the included remote like most other TVs.

As a mid-range series, the X80K still has Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) technology to support gaming. The device is equipped with four HDMI 2.0 ports, Bluetooth A2DP connection, supports Wi-Fi 2 bands 5 GHz, 2.4 GHz while some current low-cost smart TVs only have 2.4 GHz band..

Bravia X80K is expected to cost from 16.4 million VND for the 43-inch version and the highest is 36.9 million VND for the 75-inch version. This price is equivalent to direct competitor Samsung Q60A.

Unlike 2021, which is affected by supply and transportation due to the epidemic, major TV manufacturers such as Sony, Samsung, and LG are expected to fully distribute the new 2022 product line in Vietnam from the end of April.
