“My husband and I have a small business, we have accumulated for many years to buy an apartment of nearly 1 billion VND. The car is savings, borrowed more from parents, siblings each a little. Most of my friends who buy cars have to borrow from banks or relatives. The price of each car segment is different, people with stable incomes will consider finance to own the right car. Few people have enough money to pay for a car at once,” Phuc said.

Mr. Phuc said that in the apartment complex his family is living in, with more than 500 households, there are nearly 300 cars. The number of cars has increased significantly in the past two years.

“If the couple rides a motorbike, if they carry a small child on rainy days, they will almost get wet. Husband and wife discussed borrowing from their grandmother, brothers and sisters each have enough money to buy a car of 500 million dong. Know is buy car there are many other expenses such as raising one more person, but both husband and wife determined to try their best “- Mr. V shared.

However, under pressure to pay the debt every month, Mr. V. and his wife decided to sell their house to buy an apartment, pay the debt and spend some money to buy another piece of land outside the city.

Also in this period, thousands of people in Ha Tinh and Nghe An have ordered cars at preferential prices from businesses. This is also one of the reasons why the number of cars in these two provinces is in the top of the country in terms of the number of newly registered cars in 2021.

Share with PV. VietNamNet, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Hien, Vice Captain of Traffic Police-TTTT City Police. Vinh, said that the roads in the city are increasingly narrowed by the rapidly increasing number of cars and motorbikes. The time of congestion is usually at rush hour.

“The sidewalk in the city. Vinh is very wide, but has not invested in opening more lanes,” said Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Hien.

City People’s Committee Vinh also opened “parking bays” on the roadside, but the number is very small and causes difficulties for people. If you leave your car on the roadway, it will cause traffic jams, if you leave it on the sidewalk, it will be handled. Because so far, Nghe An has not yet allowed parking on sidewalks, like other big cities.

“The difficulty in the city. Vinh is a family with two cars quite a lot, the road in front of the house can only fit one car, while it is impossible to park in front of the neighbor’s house. In addition, families and shops often have customers, but the car is parked on the sidewalk.”

The streets of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Hong Phong, Quang Trung and Le Loi are forbidden to park during rush hour. However, at prohibited hours, only Nguyen Thi Minh Khai route has a “parking bay” so it cannot meet the needs of the people. As a result, at rush hour, there are no places to stop cars and motorbikes on the roads.

“The time to get out of work is when people travel, buy and sell a lot, the traffic police only know how to remind. Most sidewalks in the city. Vinh is over 9m wide. The solution now is to open more parking bays and widen the road from the sidewalk,” suggested Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Hien.
