Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoa Binh was posthumously awarded the Labor Medal

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just issued a decision posthumously conferring the Third-class Labor Medal to Mr. Le Hoa Binh, former Standing Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for his outstanding achievements in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of March 29, on the way to work, Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Hoa Binh had an accident on the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong highway in the direction of Ho Chi Minh City to Trung Luong (belonging to Trung Luong commune). Thanh Duc, Ben Luc District, Long An Province), at about 7:20 a.m.

Despite being coordinated by doctors at Long An General Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital, Mr. Le Hoa Binh passed away at 9:40 am on the same day.

Mr. Le Hoa Binh’s funeral was held at the Southern National Funeral House, No. 05, Pham Ngu Lao Street, Go Vap District.

The visitation ceremony begins on the afternoon of March 31 and lasts until the end of today (April 1). The memorial service will be held at 7:30 a.m. on April 2, then buried at the City Cemetery (Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City).

Mr. Le Hoa Binh was born on April 1, 1970; hometown Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province. Education: Civil Engineer, Master of Engineering, Bachelor of Economics, Advanced Political Theory.

From 1994 to 2014, he worked in various positions at Saigon Construction Corporation, Rodio Construction Company, Saigon Construction Inspection Company, HCMC Urban Upgrading Project Management Board. , Management Board of Investment and Construction of Urban Upgrading Works in Ho Chi Minh City.

In December 2014, he held the position of Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction.

In October 2015, he was a member of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term X, term 2015-2020.

Since March 2016, he has been the Chairman of the People’s Committee of District 7.

In April 2019, he held the position of Director of the Department of Construction.

In October 2020, he was elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term XI, and then continued to be elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term XI, term 2020-2025.

In December 2020, he was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

In December 2021, he was assigned to be the Standing Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
