Russian tourists fall from hotel floors
Hai PhongA female tourist fell from a high floor of a hotel on Nui Ngoc Street, Cat Ba town, and died at 6 p.m. on April 7.
At 9 p.m., the city’s police department and professional departments were present, examining the scene, conducting preliminary autopsy of the body.
According to the investigative agency, the victim is over 20 years old, Russian nationality. The room where the female tourist stayed was undisturbed, with no sign of the murder. The police discovered that there was alcohol, the room window overlooking Nui Ngoc Street right next to the hotel was open.
Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People’s Committee Le Khac Nam said the city had informed the Russian Embassy in Hanoi about the incident.
The tourist’s body is preserved at the Cat Hai District Medical Center.
