Student Competition with safety information 2022 is organized by the Vietnam Information Security Association under the auspices of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

After nearly a month of opening the nationwide exam system, the contest attracted nearly 600,000 contestants. Hanoi leads with more than 125,000 candidates, followed by Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Giang.

Three contestants won the first prize at the contest: Pham Thi Thanh Binh – Minh Thanh Secondary School, Quang Ninh province Nguyen Ngoc Diep – Nguyen Dang Dao Secondary School, Bac Ninh city, Pham Le Minh Duc – Primary and High School Tue Duc Green campus, Hanoi city.

Three collective first prizes for the school with the most participants were awarded to Dong Da, Vinh Loc A and Dong Thanh Secondary Schools (Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the report, currently, more than 66% of Vietnamese children have the opportunity to access Internet-connected devices, of which more than 43% use 1 to 3 hours a day. The competition helps to improve identification skills and prevent and avoid unsafe risks in the network environment.
