The group of men and women are workers from Ho Chi Minh City who come to visit and stay at a resort in Phuoc Tinh commune (Long Dien district). More than 8 o’clock today, they went to the beach at the embankment to bathe, play and take pictures, at this time the tide was high.

Seeing 4 female colleagues being swept away by the waves, the rest of them shouted and ran to ask for help. Local people and rescue forces rescued three people and brought them to Ba Ria Hospital. More than three hours later, the 23-year-old victim was found drifting a few hundred meters away from the crash site. The three people who were rescued are in stable condition.

On the occasion of Hung King’s death anniversary, taking a three-day break, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province attracts a lot of tourists from neighboring provinces and the West. Particularly, the beaches in Vung Tau city yesterday attracted 21,000 people to swim and play.
