It can be said that Thuy Van is one of the most successful runner-ups among the runner-ups during the 2 decades of Miss Vietnam pageant. Referring to Thuy Van, the audience loves her not only for being beautiful and successful, she also has a happy family life.
It is known that Thuy Van’s son is Tony, real name is Cao Hoang Minh, this year the boy is 10 years old and attends an international school in Hanoi. Although Thuy Van has never shared a specific number of fees for her son, according to research, to attend that international school, parents must pay primary school fees ranging from 600 – 700 million/year. The number of school fees will increase as children enter the older classes.

Revealing about her son, Thuy Van is always full of pride and happiness. Because, Tony is a smart kid, very lovable and understanding. Despite being busy with a packed schedule, she has never abandoned taking care of her son. Her mother is a famous runner-up, her father is a successful businessman, but Thuy Van never “indulges” Tony because of that.
With her educational perspective, Thuy Van said, she always creates a “friend” relationship with her son so that he can share with her all his thoughts and feelings.
“Tony is growing old, begins to learn more about the world around him, so he needs a lot of sharing from his mother. Once Tony asked: “Is it so hard to be an adult, mother?” His words startled me. I had to ask him why he had that question, Tony revealed that he had seen a youtuber saying that, they analyzed the sufferings of adulthood.After listening to his question, I sat down to explain it in detail because Why do they say that and how positive and optimistic we should be.”

“Like many other parents, when their children grow up, they cannot avoid worrying. Because sometimes parents are inattentive, not paying attention, children are easily caught up in things that they have not yet noticed. To be honest, sometimes I also want to quit my job and just stay at home next to me and observe and accompany my children.
But that makes me feel really out of balance. Luckily, Tony likes to share with his mother. His mother went to work at an event to wake up early, even though he wanted to be with her, he actively forced her to sleep early and made her eat well. Tony will often keep in mind the things he wonders about, and then when the mother and daughter have a lot of time, they start to talk,” Thuy Van added.
Recently, many heartbreaking stories of children in the study pressure of parents and children also make Thuy Van very worried and heartbroken.

Because of those lessons, Thuy Van is more and more aware that her children also have their own feelings and they need to be shared every day: “I have a secret to be closer to my children that is often telling them righteous stories. my work and then discuss issues around work with my children. Thinking positively, my “busyness” is also a good lesson for children”.
Thuy Van revealed that because Tony attended an international school, she often had to remind her son to learn and read Vietnamese. Therefore, every day, she regularly spends at least 10 minutes reading Vietnamese books for mother and daughter.
Besides, Thuy Van also expressed that she does not pressure her son to become talented: “As long as he is always happy, happy and has passion to pursue”.
