Recently, China’s State Market Administration said that the manufacturer Electric Car (EV) of the US Tesla has recalled 127,785 EVs in China due to potential defects in semiconductor components.

According to the regulator, Tesla’s recall concerns Model 3 vehicles manufactured between January 11, 2019 and January 25, 2022, of which 34,207 Model 3 vehicles are imported. and 93,578 vehicles made in China.

Faulty semiconductor components can cause the car to be unable to start or lose control of the vehicle. In extreme cases, errors like these can increase the risk of a crash.

Tesla branches in Beijing and Shanghai have pledged to update the software on the recalled vehicles or replace the defective parts free of charge.

In February, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said Tesla Inc. was recalling 26,681 vehicles in the US due to a software error related to the windshield.

Tesla confirmed it will perform a software update to resolve the issue. This recall affects a number of models such as the Model 3, Model S, Model X 2021-2022 and Model Y 2020-2022 models because they do not meet federal safety standards.

Under the close scrutiny of US regulators and some lawmakers, Tesla has had to issue a number of recalls in recent months, including those due to software problems.
