Psychologist Alice Haddon, who runs the hotel, realizes there are few resort services available to women struggling to get over their trauma. She sought a radical concept in the “transformation” process to provide exactly what a heartbroken woman needs.

“We believe that vulnerability connects us to human nature. Our sensitive souls are the birthplace of compassion and daring creativity,” Haddon said.

The hotel serves hot water, blankets, warm drinks, crackling fire… “Here they will be freed from their own misery and temporarily relieved of all responsibilities such as serving others or any what role in society they are,” Haddon explained.

In addition to intensive group therapy sessions, guests will be served nutritious, plant-based meals that are good for a weary heart.

The highlight of the hotel is its location by the beach. Feeling the vastness of the ocean, smelling the salty smell of the sea is good for people with psychological problems. They help relieve stress and reduce the hormone cortisol in the body.

“Being close to the beach allows guests to take long walks along the beach, which is important in alleviating pain,” said Ruth Field, life coach who co-runs the hotel. .

Cell phone and alcohol-free use is key to ensuring that guests are truly more open-minded during intensive group therapy sessions. “They need to sit back, be honest with their feelings. Whatever the impact, the therapy session can be meaningless,” Field said.
