The tax industry proposes to handle VND 4,255 billion through payment and inspection

The General Department of Taxation (Ministry of Finance) said that from the beginning of the year to March 14, tax industry conducted 4,890 inspections at taxpayers’ headquarters and checked 90,503 records at tax offices, equaling 113.32% compared to the same period in 2021.

The total amount proposed to be handled through inspection and examination is 4,255 billion VND. In which, the increase in tax revenue is 1,050.2 billion VND; deduction of 237.8 billion dong; reduced loss by more than 2,967 billion dong.

Also in the first 3 months of 2022, the tax industry collected 7,250 billion VND of tax debt. Tax authorities at all levels have handled tax debt freeze, debt cancellation of late payment interest that is no longer able to pay the state budget about 150 billion VND.
