Ukraine says about 3,000 soldiers were killed in 7 weeks of fighting with Russia

In the interview with CNN On April 15, Zelensky said there were no civilian casualties and confirmed that 19,000-20,000 Russian soldiers died in the fighting.

Last month, Russia reported that the number of its soldiers killed and wounded in Ukraine was 1,351 and 3,825, respectively.

In a recent statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged that the military situation in the south and east of the country “remains very difficult”.

He also called on Western countries to send more heavy weapons and implement an international embargo on Russian oil.
