Romano and Merrett, the charity’s board member, spent the night out on the streets as part of a 360ºExperience fundraiser, asking family members to consider the realities of homelessness, especially in a cold climate like Canada.
Hyundai Canada executives had an unforgettable experience on the cold streets of Toronto, as a homeless person raising funds for charity.
The organization will use the proceeds from the event to support youth at risk and the homeless, and help advance the organization’s vision of a world where every child has access to a safe home.
The 360ºExperience event takes place on March 3, supporters can participate in person or online to ensure safety from the Covid-19 pandemic. Each online participant must collect a minimum of 78 USD and each in-person participant must collect 1,561 USD.
In addition to the participation of Hyundai Canada leaders, representatives of Hyundai dealerships across the country also gathered to donate 100,000 Canadian dollars (approximately 78,059) for 360ºchildren.
With the money, 360ºkids will be able to support children in crisis with housing, jobs, food security, counselling, educational support, etc.
