Interestingly, the i7 and 760i have the same 536 hp, while the internal combustion engine version has slightly more torque, at 749 Nm thanks to the help of a 48 V hybrid system.

With the Mercedes EQS 580, the new BMW i7 is more powerful than 536 hp and 516 hp. However, the EQS has more towing capacity, with 854 Nm compared to 744 Nm. Mercedes’ electric model is also faster, though not significantly, with a 0-97 km/h time of 4.3 seconds. In terms of top speed, EQS is 208 km/h while i7 is 240 km/h.

BMW supports 3 years of free charging for customers at Electrify America’s charging system, while the i7’s navigation will calculate the journey to optimize charging.

Currently, BMW USA has received pre-orders for the i7 from April 20, and is expected to deliver the car in the fourth quarter. The standard i7 xDrive60 starts at $119,300, which also means the most expensive of the 7 2023 series.
