In which, the basement is arranged with 12 working rooms, exhibition space, multi-purpose space, technical room… And the first floor is arranged multi-purpose meeting room, 2 small meeting rooms, working room, makeup room …

The project, after many adjustments, has a total investment of more than 160 billion VND, from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) loan and about 10% of the counterpart capital from the central budget. The investor is Thanh Hoa City’s comprehensive socio-economic development project management board.

In 2015, Thanh Hoa City Party Committee and People’s Committee borrowed this place as a workplace while waiting for the construction of a new headquarters. In 2019, the units moved to the new headquarters. In 2020, this site will be used as a Covid-19 isolation place. Over the years of neglect, the unused building has degraded many items.

The main column of the convention center appeared stretched cracks.

Since the whole area is not in use, there is no cleaner.

The corridor inside the wall is moldy, water-soaked, peeling. Damaged ceiling, puncture in many places…

Behind the convention center are 5 eco-lodges built on 2 floors, villa-style with 3 luxuriously designed rooms on each floor when each room has a self-contained toilet…

The spacious Convention Center campus is now a place to graze goats for the people around.

The grass is overgrown like a deserted house.

The previous working rooms deteriorated more and more due to long-standing emptying.

Many ornamental plants are not cared for, watered and died in the hallway of the convention center.

Garage area becomes a place to store waste, covered with leaves.

After moving to a new location, the previous working rooms were not cleaned, garbage was littered indiscriminately.

According to Thanh Hoa City People’s Committee, currently, Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and other departments, agencies and sectors have checked, surveyed the current status and considered to bring a number of non-business units to work here.

No unit has been found to take over, so the building is still abandoned.
