According to the report, every year, Vietnam sends more than 90,000 workers to work abroad on average. Particularly in 2020 and 2021, this number drops to only about half (more than 45,000 people) due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. Besides the results achieved, every year there are still dozens of lines with hundreds of workers being scammed when they intend to work abroad.

The Code provides concepts and methods of community communication, behavior change communication, ways to plan and develop communication strategies and activities appropriate to each local situation, as well as Lessons learned from IOM’s behavior change communication campaign to promote safe migration and prevent human trafficking in recent times.

Dang Si Dung said that this is a priority activity to promote safe labor migration.
