Invite each other to the lake to cool off, 4 girls drowned tragically
A group of 6 students in Nghe An pulled together to cool off in the lake, but 4 of them unfortunately drowned and died.
On the evening of April 25, Mr. Ngo Sy Cuong – Chairman of Nghia Loc Commune People’s Committee (Nghia Dan District, Nghe An Province) said that a drowning incident had just happened in the area, causing 4 students dead pitiful.
Authorities searched for four female students.
Accordingly, at about 2pm on the same day, a group of 6 students in grade 8, Nghia Loc Secondary School, pulled together to the lake in Tan Huu hamlet, Nghia Loc commune to cool off. While bathing, all 6 children unfortunately tripped into a deep water area and sank in the lake. 2 children were lucky to escape, the remaining 4 children were swept away by the water.
“Receiving the news, the commune authorities immediately mobilized the entire rescue force to organize the search.
At 5:00 p.m. on the same day, the functional forces found the bodies of two unlucky female students. The remaining 2 children are being searched by the authorities.
We are deeply saddened by this incident, and our sincere condolences to the families of the children.”Mr. Ngo Sy Cuong shared.
