Top 10 Vietnamese IT enterprises in 2022 receive applications by the end of June 20, 2022

Program Top 10 IT business Vietnam is an annual activity organized by VINASA since 2014. The program includes 3 activities: voting for businesses in 20 fields; compiling special publications in 3 languages; introduce, promote, connect and cooperate with domestic and international partners and potential customers.

After 8 years of organization, the program has selected and introduced 466 businesses; publishes 23 publications in 3 languages ​​(Vietnamese, English, Japanese) which have been compiled and each year are introduced to more than 5,000 domestic agencies and units, more than 100,000 partners from over 100 countries countries and economies in the world in the international cooperation network of VINASA.

According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, the revenue of the ICT industry in 2021 will reach 136,153 million USD, up from over 124,678 million USD in 2020. Although still accounting for a small percentage, the revenue of Vietnamese enterprises will reach nearly 18 $3.8 billion, accounting for 13.8% of the industry’s overall revenue. Vietnam currently has 64,000 digital technology enterprises, an increase of 5,600 enterprises compared to 2020. The number of digital technology enterprises has increased rapidly to meet the strong domestic and international digital transformation needs. Programme Top 10 Vietnamese IT enterprises was born to certify and honor Vietnam’s leading IT – communication enterprises, thereby directly contributing to strengthening the prestige and building the image of Vietnam’s ICT background on the world technology map.

The program of Top 10 Vietnam IT enterprises 2022 will select and introduce 10 typical ICT enterprises in 20 fields, divided into 5 groups:

– Traditional fields of IT industry (digital transformation platform, export of IT software and services, BPO, digital transformation services & solutions, IT services & solutions, production & distribution of ICT equipment )

– Priority areas for argument transfer (Digital government, smart city, e-commerce, FinTech, EdTech, PropTech, HealthTech, AgriTech)

– Enterprises with capacity in new technologies (A-IoT, Blockchain, digital infrastructure, cloud computing, big data, security, information safety)

– Digital Startup businesses

– Special voting group (impressive growth, trillion enterprise title)

The Top 10 Vietnam IT enterprises program is always researched and renewed every year, not only to catch up with the breath of the IT market, but also to meet the needs of IT businesses.

In 2022, the program has 2 notable changes. One is to add the field of enterprises that research, manufacture and distribute ICT equipment into the voting field. With the growing trend of Internet of Things (IoT) combined with artificial intelligence (AI), big data (Big Data), the boundary between hardware and software has been blurred. New functions, new devices are developed continuously. Digital transformation cannot be separated from IT and industries, and software and technology solutions cannot be separated from hardware devices. To encourage and promote the development of these enterprises, VINASA added the category of ICT equipment research, production and distribution enterprises to the program.

The second is to select, establish and announce the trillion-dollar enterprise club. This is a new and special point of this year’s program. Vietnam is aiming for 100,000 digital enterprises by 2030 and forming at least 10 digital technology enterprises that play a leading role, have international competitiveness, with a turnover of over 1 billion USD. The organizers will choose from businesses with a total revenue of VND 1,000 billion or more in 2021 to award the title of trillion enterprise. These businesses will be members of the trillion-dollar business club. The club will have its own program of activities not only to affirm the position and stature of Vietnamese technology names, but also to build a team of powerful pioneers and industry leaders, to invest in technology companies. The program of Top 10 Vietnamese IT enterprises in 2020 will receive applications until the end of the day June 20, 2022. Nominations will go through evaluation, evaluation and voting rounds. The ceremony to honor and award the certificate of Top 10 Vietnam IT enterprises 2022 is expected to be held in August 2022.
