The Heritage Collection, selected by the designer as the typical collection, will be performed at the Women’s Ao Dai Festival in Bac Giang province. The collection with 15 models of Ao Dai is inspired by the cultural heritages of Vietnam that have been recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. The collection is a product of the crystallization of efforts and creativity of more than 100 embroidery and sewing artisans from traditional craft villages in Thuong Tin, My Duc, and Hang Bac, Hanoi. Through the Heritage Region collection, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam wishes to showcase the most quintessential masterpieces of Vietnamese traditional culture and introduce them to a large number of domestic and international friends.

The Dream Collection is the second collection selected by the designer to introduce on this occasion. Because, 20 models of Ao Dai depicted by the designer represent a dream of beauty taken from the precious quintessence of Bat Trang Pottery to paint a mysterious but colorful picture from the mother earth. The Dream Collection is a combination of world fashion trends with yellow, blue, and orange tones to create fresh and vibrant images for spring-summer outfits.

The student of designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam, designer Huyen Nguyen will introduce to the Ao Dai Festival of his homeland a collection called Moc Ban.

The collection of Moc Ban Ao Dai inspired by woodblocks of Buddhist scriptures stored at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Yen Dung, Bac Giang has been recognized by UNESCO as a Documentary Heritage of the World Memory Program in Asia – In the Pacific Ocean, the Moc Ban collection is an impressive highlight to introduce the traditional cultural beauty of Bac Giang’s homeland through the designs of Ao Dai.
