TNGO is a public bicycle rental app and a new and modern community bicycle service development application, providing a solution to connect tourists with thousands of bicycles quickly, safely and economically.
To use the public bicycle service, residents and visitors will install the TNGO application (for free) on their smartphones. Then use this app to scan the car unlock code.
The application has a map for people to search for suitable bus stations with the route. After completing the trip, users park the car in the right place to lock the car.
If the tenant does not return the vehicle to any correct station, the system will continue to charge. Each bike has a GPS attached, which helps control the vehicle’s location and will have alerts sent to the app.
Ticket price is calculated by time: 5,000 VND/30 minutes, 10,000 VND/60 minutes… Payment through some types of e-wallets, bank accounts.
Due to the new service, launched on the occasion of the holiday, many people and tourists have enlisted to experience this service with their loved ones.
Mr. Do Ba Quan, Chairman of Tri Nam Digital Transport Service Joint Stock Company, said that the company has deployed a public bicycle rental service at 12 locations with 100 vehicles. From April 29 to May 29, 2022, registered customers can use this service for free for 1 hour. After that, the service will charge a fee of 5,000 VND/30 minutes, 10,000 VND/60 minutes.
“After a month of testing, the company plans to expand to 45 stations, developing more than 500 bicycles to serve the needs of residents and visitors,” Mr. Quan said.
Mr. Vu Hong Thuan, Vice Chairman of Vung Tau City People’s Committee added that the public bicycle service creates favorable conditions for people to use public transport, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and creating a new environment. new products for tourism.
In the coming time, the city will mobilize civil servants and public employees to use bicycles as a means of going to work, in order to contribute to preserving the green environment for the tourist city.
Having just experienced public bicycles, Nguyen Khac Ha, a resident of Dong Nai, shared that cycling is both a form of exercise and relaxation. Especially in the afternoon, cycling to the beach is very cool and comfortable.
