The Spanish Prime Minister’s mobile phone was tapped

The Chief of Office of the Prime Minister of Spain, Felix Bolanos, confirmed the above information and emphasized that the case will be investigated by the judicial authorities.

In January, the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said that the mobile phones of many Finnish diplomats had been tracked by the Pegasus spyware.

According to Western media, Pegasus spyware has been used to target many high-ranking officials of the European Union (EU). It is currently unclear which countries used Pegasus to carry out these wiretappings.

NSO Corporation (Israel), the maker of Pegasus spyware, has repeatedly denied that the spyware was used to spy on European officials. The company says it will cooperate in any investigation to determine whether abuse of its products has occurred.
