Hanoi added 705 new COVID-19 cases, Ha Dong and Dong Anh alone accounted for 1/3
Patients are distributed in 188 communes, wards and towns in 21/30 districts, towns. Some districts recorded many patients in a day such as: Ha Dong (135); Dong Anh (127); Gia Lam (67); Long Bien (62); Hoang Mai (55); Hoai Duc (53).
According to the Department of Health, there are currently only more than 97,500 cases of COVID-19 being treated and monitored; in which 237 cases are treated at the hospital, the rest are monitored at home.
Among the patients treated in the hospital, there were 185 cases of moderate severity; 44 severe cases require oxygen, masks, and glasses frames. There were no critical cases requiring mechanical ventilation.
Regarding vaccination for children aged 5-11, Hanoi has had nearly 146,000 children vaccinated with the first dose, data from the afternoon of April 16 to the end of May 3.
