The female student criticized her graduation salary as only 7 million, causing controversy

The text of the female student’s sharing line is as follows:
“Brothers and sisters, is it true that after graduating from school, the salary of 7 million?
I’m in my freshman year, about to enter my 2nd year of college. My academic strength is also average, but I think that after graduation, *** will have a higher salary than other schools. Suddenly, people say that after graduating from school, the salary is only 7-8 million, but I feel so sad, is it worth 4-5 years of college, costing my parents hundreds of millions?! At least, recruiters have to look at the candidate’s profile to see which schools are potential and which schools are not… Just hope that studying *** will have a bright future and watching the brothers and sisters who graduate from school and go to work tell the stories they see. too pessimistic”.

The sharing stream has attracted thousands of interactions, shares and comments from netizens.

“Just graduated from school with a salary of 7 million is okay, if you want to be higher, your profile must be framed + have experience in the position you work for.

“When you ask similar questions, your income may not even be worth that 7 million :)))) high or low income due to ability, don’t bring the name of the school in. With poor performance, there’s not much difference between public schools and private schools.”

“If you go to any school with a good profile, you will also get a high salary, and a 7 million profine is high :)).

“High salary or not is due to ability, personal skills, self-improvement and training process. But now, if you still keep the mindset of going to a good school to graduate with a high salary, then 7 million is high already =)) Good luck to you.

‘The starting salary of 7 million is normal’

Sharing with VietNamNet, a human resource manager with 20 years of experience in Hanoi said that recruitment is often based on supply and demand, it doesn’t matter which university graduates from.

‘According to observations, it is true that many fresh graduates can enjoy relatively low salaries. However, with more work experience, the salary level will be different.”

In addition, the mentality of many new graduates is that they want to learn, so they do not set too high requirements.

Vu Tuan Anh, Dean of the Faculty of Communication and External Culture, Diplomatic Academy, said that it is normal for students to graduate with a starting salary of 7 million VND/month.

“The issue of salary depends on the resilience of students when going to work. When new graduates, businesses do not know the capacity of students like and during the probationary period of about 3 months, the salary can turn up to 10-12 million/month. The more talent is demonstrated, the higher the salary will be.”

Besides, Dr. Tuan Anh also affirmed that many students, even though they have not graduated, have a salary of about 15-20 million/month.

However, students need to pay attention to spending when living in a big city like Hanoi.

“The amount of spending also depends on the student’s circumstances and needs to be considered. I also supported some students to graduate with a salary of only 5 million, but they still live quite well,” said the dean.
