The “golden hopes” of TTVN
The 31st SEA Games will take place from May 12 to 23 in Hanoi and 11 neighboring cities and provinces. The Congress organized 40 competitions, 523 contents with the participation of more than 10,000 athletes, officials, referees… from 11 sports delegations in Southeast Asia. Particularly, the Vietnam Sports Delegation has a total of 1,341 members, participating in all 40 competitions.
Rural Today/Dan Viet accompanies the Vietnamese delegation at SEA Games 31.
The Vietnamese track and field team is the largest team participating in the 31st SEA Games with 86 members, including 65 athletes. However, “speed queen” Le Tu Chinh had to withdraw her name at the last minute because of a serious injury.
Swimming team attended with 40 members, including 31 athletes. Men’s football attended the congress with 32 members, women’s football with 29 members, men’s futsal team with 23 members and women’s futsal team with 22 members.
The goal of the Vietnamese sports delegation is to top the 31st SEA Games medal table, specifically winning 140 gold medals. To do that, it takes the shine of many athletes, especially those with high expectations…
