On May 7, Mr. Hoang Van Ha, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cuong Gian commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province said that a household in the area had just caught fire in the night.
Initial information, around 11 pm on May 6, the family of Mr. Hoang Van Tuan (born in 1976, residing in Nam Moi village, Cuong Gian commune) was sleeping when the house suddenly caught fire.
Seeing the fire broke out, people around shouted, broke the door to take Mr. Tuan’s family out and reported it to the authorities. There are 5 people in the house at the moment. The incident left a child with minor burns.
Receiving the news, the authorities mobilized functional forces and people… to the scene to assist the family in extinguishing the fire. At about 1 a.m. on May 7, the fire was basically controlled, but all properties in the house were destroyed by fire.
“The fire in the middle of the night burned all of Mr. Tuan’s family’s property, including a cargo truck that was also burned. The damage is estimated at more than 700 million VND”, said Mr. Hoang Van Ha, Chairman of Cuong Gian Commune People’s Committee.
Currently, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
