Overwhelmed by the Vietnamese Bui family ancestral church

The church of the Bui family in Vinh Phuc is causing a stir in public opinion with its scale and grandeur. The whole frame and columns are made of imported ironwood and rosewood.
In recent days, information about the “terrible” house of the Bui family in Xuan Hoa (Phuc Yen, Vinh Phuc) in Vietnam is receiving the attention and attention of many people.
This ancestral church was built on an area of 35.00m2, the largest scale in Vietnam up to the present time.
The main campus of the church has an area of 5,000m2, the back garden area is 5,000m2 wide and there is 25,000m2 of untapped land.This is the place where the ancestral sacrifices take place as well as the general work of the Bui family for 63 provinces and cities and abroad. Therefore, the size of the church is very large, meeting the needs of sacrifices, cultural and spiritual activities for all Bui children.
The ancestral church of the entire Bui Vietnamese community was completed not long ago.
The main courtyard of the church can accommodate 800-1000 people. The stele house, the three-way gate and the stele create unique works with elaborate details. Nine dragon carvings are placed on the front wall of the Vietnamese Bui family church. Each picture has size: 1-1.5m.
The main space of the ancestral church is located on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor is divided into 7 worship spaces. This area has a total of 42 wooden poles, of which 1 is made of rosewood, the remaining 41 are made of ironwood, nearly 10m high. The diaphragm, the couplets, the hammock door… are painted with gilded vermilion. The wooden walls are not made in the usual way but are made into beautiful carvings introducing the traditions and famous people of the Bui family who have contributed to the construction of the country for thousands of years. All sesame rafters, flags, trusses, columns to door frames, doors, walls, other details are used rare ironwood imported from abroad. In which, rare iron wood fibers, large and long, weighing more than 1 ton are used for the entire house space from the main road. The details of the pattern are carved by the top artisans from precious ironwood very delicately, achieving high aesthetics. The dragon head motifs on the columns show majesty, strength and have a deep spiritual meaning.

Enclosure wall uses monolithic stone. Stone and wood materials are elaborately carved to create works of art. The hexagonal porch stone columns have very beautiful proportions and are delicately carved, creating a solemn and solemn space for the church. The project was designed and constructed by an architect surnamed Bui. Design time is about 4 months, construction time is 2 years and 3 months.
