Missing the lesson, the 3rd grade girl was beaten and bruised by her teacher
Mr. Mai Ngoc Long, Head of Department of Education and Training, Dien Chau district (Nghe An) confirmed that a female teacher beat a 3rd grade student with bruises on her shoulder.
Before that, on the afternoon of May 10, Ms. Nguyen Thi P. (resident in Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district), while bringing her daughter, Nguyen Thi Thu P. (3rd grade student, Dien Yen primary school 1) in home to bathe, discovered bruises on her daughter’s shoulders and back.
When he asked his son, P. said he was beaten by his homeroom teacher because he did not know the lesson. After that, Ms. P. took her daughter to the hospital for examination and posted a picture of her daughter being beaten by her teacher on social networks.
Mr. Mai Ngoc Long, Head of Education and Training Department of Dien Chau district, said that the unit is asking Dien Yen 1 Primary School to make a report.
“It was initially determined that Miss HM used a ruler to hit the 3rd grade girl’s shoulder, causing bruising,” Mr. Long said.
The case is still being investigated and clarified. The teacher involved in the incident is currently suspended for 15 days.
