Particularly for grade 12 students, schools can extend the school year longer in order for students to review and meet the high school graduation exam. How long the review time will be extended depends on the needs of students and schools so that the units can proactively ensure the quality of teaching and learning.”

Grandfather Nguyen Huu Do, Deputy Minister of Education and Training then said that extending the school year for students in grades 1 to 11 (if any) is the initiative of the localities, without having to consult the Ministry of Education and Training.
