Around 19:00 on the same day, the functional forces received news that a fire had occurred at Lane 440, Lac Long Quan (Tay Ho, Hanoi).

As soon as the initial information was received, and it was determined that there was a possibility of fire spreading to the surrounding area, the Hanoi City Police dispatched 5 fire engines and 1 water tank truck, the police of Tay Ho, Cau Giay and District 3 districts. The Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 3 and more than 40 officers and soldiers arrived at the scene to fight the fire. Along with that, the Fire and Rescue Police Department also dispatched 1 command vehicle and 5 officers to the scene to directly participate in fire fighting command.

After a period of efforts to fight the fire, by 20:20 on the same day, the fire was contained, preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent business households and neighboring houses. And around 10 p.m. the fire was completely extinguished.

According to initial statistics, the total area of ​​​​the fire was about 150m2, including residential houses and part of the area of ​​adjacent business households (photocopying business households, advertising business households, fashion business households) the fire did not occur. cause damage to people.
