Statistics show that the export of phones and components to the Chinese market has the largest turnover with 4.74 billion USD, up 19.7%; to the US market with a value of USD 4.19 billion, up 32.2%; to Korea reached US$1.98 billion, up 33% over the same period last year. In the opposite direction, phone exports to the EU reached 2.25 billion USD, down 7.6%. However, the EU is still Vietnam’s third largest market.

In the opposite direction, imports of this commodity group in the month reached 1.85 billion USD, down 2.4% compared to the previous month. In the first 4 months of 2022, the import value of this group of goods reached 7.38 billion USD, up 19.1% over the same period in 2021.

In the first 4 months of 2022, South Korea and China are still the two main markets supplying phones of all kinds and components to Vietnam with a total value of 6.78 billion USD, accounting for 92% of the total import value of Vietnam. this product group. In which, imports from Korea reached 3.66 billion USD, increased sharply by 41.5%; imports from China were US$3.13 billion, up 5.2%… over the same period last year.

Another commodity group is computers, electronic products and components in April, reaching US$4.47 billion, down 15.9% from the previous month, bringing the export value of this commodity group in the first 4 months of 2022. reached 17.71 billion USD, up 11.2% over the same period in 2021.

The United States is the largest export market for computers and electronic products. Accordingly, the export of computers, electronic products and components to the US reached US$4.47 billion, up 13.7% over the same period last year; to the Chinese market reached 3.86 billion USD, up 16.6%; to the EU market reached 2.52 billion USD, up 15.2%; to Hong Kong reached 1.82 billion USD, down 2.7%; to the Korean market reached 1.34 billion USD, down 2.1%…

Meanwhile, the import price in April was 7.54 billion USD, down 5.9% month on month. In general, the import value of this group of goods in the first 4 months of 2022 reached 29.22 billion USD, up 30.7%, corresponding to an increase of 6.86 billion USD over the same period last year.
