Gasoline price increased to a record high of 30,650 VND/liter

On the afternoon of May 23, the Ministry of Finance – Industry and Trade decided to adjust the retail price of gasoline.

Specifically, the price of gasoline E5 RON 92 was adjusted to increase by 680 VND / liter, the price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 670 VND / liter. After adjustment, the maximum retail price for E5 RON 92 gasoline is VND 29,630/liter and RON 95 gasoline is VND 30,650/liter.

With this new adjustment, the retail price of gasoline has now reached a new peak. RON 95 gasoline alone has surpassed the mark of 30,000 VND/liter. This gasoline price has set a new record ever. And this is also the 4th consecutive increase of this item in just over the first 5 months of 2022.

For oil products, in this adjustment period, the oil price is adjusted down from 760-1,100 VND/liter. Specifically, the selling price for diesel oil is 25,550 VND/liter, kerosene is 24,400 VND/kg, fuel oil is 20,590 VND/kg.

Also at this adjustment period, the Union decided to deduct the stabilization fund for diesel and kerosene at 300 VND/liter and the stabilization fund with 100-300 VND/liter for gasoline.
