North Korea ramps up production of drugs and medical supplies in response to the COVID-19 outbreak

KCNA, citing data from North Korea’s emergency prevention and control headquarters, said at least 262,270 people had fever symptoms, including one more death as of May 18.

The KCNA announcement did not specify how many of the country’s 25 million people have tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
