The leader of a wholesaler in Ho Chi Minh City said that the price of imported gasoline, including transportation costs until May 27, is at $154.26/barrel for RON 95 and 146.08 for RON 95. gasoline E5 RON 92. Compared to 10 days ago, the average selling price of finished gasoline in Singapore market is currently 350-850 VND/liter higher than the domestic retail price.

Accordingly, the domestic price of gasoline on June 1 will increase by about 350-850 VND/liter, bringing the price of RON 95 gasoline to over 31,000 VND/liter.

Sharing the same opinion, a leader of a petroleum wholesaler in Hanoi said that compared to 10 days ago, the retail price of domestic gasoline is lower than the selling price of finished gasoline on the Singapore market. Therefore, this period, the operator will adjust the gasoline price beyond 31,000 VND/liter.

If the forecast is true, the domestic gasoline price will have the 5th consecutive increase. From the beginning of the year until now, in the total of 13 operating periods, the price of petrol has increased 10 times and only 3 times decreased. Petrol prices in the country since the beginning of the year have increased by 6,741 – 6,774 VND/liter. In the past 2 years, the domestic gasoline price has increased by nearly 20,000 VND/liter.
