Samsung suddenly “makeover” the cheap Galaxy A13-Hi-tech fashion

Samsung is said to be preparing for the arrival of a new low-cost Android smartphone with promising features in 2022.

More specific, Samsung will launch the new Galaxy A13 with MediaTek Helio G80 chip – an improvement over the Exynos 850 (8nm) found on the standard model. On the other hand, the Galaxy A13 5G model uses the Dimensity 700 (7nm) chip.

It is important to note that this model has come in two variants on the market. Specifically, Samsung announced the Galaxy A13 5G in December 2021, while the 4G model known simply as the Galaxy A13 launched in March 2022. The 4G version is the standard version using the Exynos 850 chip at the 8nm process developed by Samsung itself. The new member is an improved version of the 4G variant with a more powerful chip for improved performance.

The posted information shows that the new product will have the model name SM-A137F with the new MediaTek Helio G80 chip. The features it will bring help to provide far superior performance compared to the original version.

It’s important to note that this isn’t the first time Samsung has relaunched the same phone model with a new chip. The predecessor of the Galaxy A13, the Galaxy A12, saw a similar improvement a few months after its launch. Specifically, the Galaxy A12 was initially launched with the MediaTek Helio P35 chip, however Samsung later chose its own Exynos 850 for this phone.

Also according to the posted information, the “new” Galaxy A13 will be officially introduced in Europe, just like the Galaxy A13 5G version. In Vietnam, Galaxy A13 Exynos 850 version is priced from 4.69 million VND.

Finally, there is no specific information for the launch of this new Galaxy A13 version. Similarly, it is not clear why there is a change in the implementation of the new chip for the Galaxy A13.
