Category I: Including two important Olympic sports, athletics and water sports (swimming, diving, water polo).
Category II: Includes badminton, basketball (5×5 and 3×3), Boxing, Billiards, cycling (road and cross country), boat racing (Canoeing, Rowing, traditional boat racing), flags (Khmer flag, ASEAN flag, chess), dance sports, fencing, footballGolf, gymnastics (Aerobic, TDDC), Hockey, Judo, Karate, Muay, billiards, softball, rattan, Tennis, table tennis, Taekwondo, triathlon, volleyball, wrestling, Wushu and weightlifting.
Category III: Includes new and unique (local) sports: stick martial arts, bodybuilding, esports, jiu jitsu, floorball, water motor racing, Kickboxing, Kun Bokator (Cambodian traditional martial arts), Vovinam, Korean martial arts.
