After 4 hours since the incident was discovered, a working group discovered that Khoa was hiding in a hotel in Ward 12, District 10, so he took it to the headquarters for clarification. Here Khoa confessed the whole act of killing his father.

Khoa declared that at noon on 6/6, he asked Mr. B for money to spend, but Mr. B did not allow it. Angered, Khoa beat Mr. B and then stabbed Mr. B with a sharp object, causing Mr. B to die.
Khoa put Mr. B on the bed, covered himself with a blanket, turned on the air conditioner, then rummaged through the house for money and gold, then locked the door, got in the car, and rented a hotel to hide.
On June 7, after regaining consciousness, worried and afraid because of his crimes, Khoa called an acquaintance to confess that he had accidentally killed his biological father.
Phu Nhuan district police suspected that Khoa used stimulants during the crime, so he took Khoa for a quick check. It is known that Khoa was allowed by Mr. B to study abroad in Singapore. After returning home, Khoa lived in a house in Ward 12, Tan Binh District. Recently, Khoa often stayed with Mr. B.
