Where it says ‘difficult’, where there is a solution to fix it

Regarding the issue of arranging a place where the candidates’ items should be stored, at least 25 meters from the exam room, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that Hanoi faces difficulties in implementation; Many test sites cannot arrange rooms with sufficient area and conditions to carry out this content. Mr. Tran The Cuong suggested that the Ministry of Education and Training allow provinces and cities, including Hanoi, to proactively have implementation plans to ensure the safest and avoid causing difficulties for candidates.

Meanwhile, a representative of the High School Graduation Examination Steering Committee in 2022 of Lai Chau province also said that it was difficult to arrange a place to store personal items at least 25 meters away from the exam room because of some basic exam points. limited facilities.

Sharing the same opinion, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Hieu said that: For localities with a large number of candidates like Ho Chi Minh City, this regulation is difficult to implement. The number of candidates at each test site is very large; If candidates’ items are brought into the concentration rooms, it will be very difficult for them to get their items after the morning exam to prepare for the afternoon exam.

However, some localities said that although it is a bit difficult to implement the above regulations, there are still solutions to overcome. Ms. Le Thi Huong, Director of Quang Tri Department of Education and Training, said that the local plan is to arrange containers and gather in a place that is at least 25m away from the exam room as prescribed, ensuring candidates do not bring items contrary to the provisions of the Regulations on entering the examination room.

Regarding the issue of whether candidates must wear a mask when entering the exam room, Deputy Director of the Medical Examination and Treatment Administration (Ministry of Health) Vuong Anh Duong said that according to the guiding documents of the Ministry of Health, subjects F0, F1 are required to wear masks.

In addition, currently we are still following the 5K regulation, so the locality still requires candidates to wear masks. However, according to Mr. Duong, the view of the Ministry of Health is that localities can do it flexibly, when candidates enter the exam room, it is not necessary to wear a mask. Because in the exam room, candidates are not allowed to talk and have ensured to keep a minimum distance of 2 meters.
