Specifically, Honda SH 125 CBS and SH 125 ABS are priced at VND 83.2 and VND 90.5 million, respectively. SH 150 CBS version costs 98.7 million VND, 10 million VND more than the proposed price. The two versions SH 150 ABS and SH 150 Sport still have extremely high selling prices, respectively 118 and 122 million, a difference of more than 20 million compared to the company’s proposed selling price.
In particular, Honda Vision – the model that is considered a national scooter has recorded an unprecedented huge price difference since this model appeared in the Vietnamese market. Specifically, Honda Vision Standard version is offered for sale for 44 million VND, 14.01 million VND difference compared to the company’s proposed price.
The Premium and Special versions have a difference of about 16 million VND. The most expensive is the Personality version, which has a published price of 34.49 million VND, but customers who want to buy a car need to pay up to 53 million VND. Thus, customers buying Honda Vision cars are having to spend about 1.5 times the price of the car proposed by the company, the difference depends on the dealer.
Mr. Hoang, manager of a Head Honda in Hanoi, shared that the number of motorbikes in stock at the dealer in the early days of June has decreased sharply compared to the previous time.
“Demand has increased while car production has been limited recently, the factory lacks components to assemble, so the number of Vision cars distributed to dealers is very small, sometimes only a few units a month, even Even Head doesn’t even have a car for sale.
