Special topics of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities
The exam consists of 5 questions, in which charting exercises and questions about marine economy in the Southeast region account for half of the score.
On May 29, more than 1,000 candidates took four written exams in turn, including Literature, Mathematics, English (morning) and specialized subjects (afternoon). The exam is built in the form of an essay with Literature (90 minutes) and specialized subjects (150 minutes), multiple-choice tests for Math and English (45 minutes for each subject).
The admission score is the sum of the scores of the exam subjects on a 10-point scale, in which the specialized subject is multiplied by a factor of two. The school does not add priority points in enrollment, does not consider admission directly.
In 2022, the High School for the Gifted of Social Sciences and Humanities will recruit 75 students for the Linguistics class, an increase of 15 compared to last year; 35 students for each class specializing in History, Geography and high quality system, each class increased by 5. This is a specialized high school that organizes the earliest entrance exam for 10th grade in Hanoi.
Admission results for specialized classes will be announced before 5pm on June 10. Last year, benchmark entering the school’s Literature class is 36, History is 30 and Geography is 31.
