Efforts to clear goods through Tan Thanh border gate

Tan Thanh border gate is the only road border gate in Lang Son province currently exporting agricultural products. Huu Nghi international border gate has reopened, but only imports are allowed.

Therefore, in recent days, the number of trucks carrying agricultural products to Tan Thanh has increased. To speed up customs clearance, many solutions have been implemented by Lang Son.

At Tan Thanh border gate, yesterday (March 28), 110 containers of goods were cleared, of which 83 trucks carried agricultural products, mainly watermelons, dragon fruit, bananas and mangoes.

The functional forces actively separate the channels and strengthen the management of the wharves and yards to both speed up the clearance and ensure room, fight against COVID-19.

To avoid congestion at the border gate, every day, functional forces provide information on import and export situation. As a result, businesses, shippers and drivers can update the approval progress and plan and adjust the plan to bring goods to the border.

To ensure the maintenance of export activities at Tan Thanh border gate and other border gates in the area, Lang Son province is also focusing on implementing green zones and safe export green channels.
