Previously, on March 15, A. came home from school to have dinner with his family. After that, A. ran away from home, the family called many times but did not pick up. At 20:53 on the same day, the family received an SMS allegedly A., with the contents:
“Mom, it’s time for me to go, mother. Sorry, I didn’t fulfill my duty. My illness was getting worse, and I couldn’t live much longer. I only have a short time to live. In such a short time, I want to work and earn money as filial piety to my parents. Please don’t look for me. I’m very sorry to you. Maybe by the time you read these messages, maybe I won’t be here anymore.”
According to family members, before the incident, A. did not show any unusual symptoms.
After receiving a text message from A., the family notified local authorities and posted information about A.’s whereabouts on social networks.
