Boxer tragically passed away just 2 days after debuting in MMA

MMANews reported that boxer Christian Lubenga passed away at the age of 27 on March 14, just two days after he made his MMA debut. Accordingly, Lubenga went on the radio to face rival Cody McCracken at the AMMO amateur martial arts event. Lubenga was knocked out in the third round and was taken to the hospital afterwards.

The cause of Lubenga’s death has yet to be announced. Doctors will examine Lubenga’s body before transferring him back to his family. Having graduated with a degree in computer technology, Lubenga still decided to pursue a career in martial arts. He studied BJJ, Muay, boxing and Capoeira before making his martial arts debut last weekend. It is known that Lubenga is already a father.

Lubenga’s sudden departure shocked his family and teammates. Recently, his gym sent condolences on his personal page.

“We don’t know what to say. Everything is like a nightmare. Everything is hard to put into words. We have given his family time to think about whether to release this information or not.” , the gym said.
